I am happy to say that my yoga schedule has been UPDATED.
I have become a part of a new yogi community. YoYoga is a very non-New York studio that just happens to be located in New York. No pretension, no judgement. This studio has a private roof deck and a cozy inside studio. A place to take yoga seriously without taking ourselves too seriously.
Come join in on a delicious Candle-Lit Restorative Yoga class every Sunday at 6:30pm at YoYoga. Check my Instagram for daily schedule updates @yemieshow
YoYoga is located at 344 E 59th Street. Between 1st and 2nd Avenues, New York, NY 10022

Happy Valentine’s Day my lovely’s. Happy Love Day as I like to say to the ones I hold dear. I just want to remind everyone that one does not need a partner to love. All one needs is the willingness of an open heart. This month I have been talking to my yoga students about Ahimsa. An act of non-violence. We can all do this in our own little way. By loving ones self and listening to the needs of the mind, body, and soul. And then making conscious steps to answer those needs. I think the kids call is ‘Self-Love’ I just call it life. So grab a glass of inner love and drink all dat shit up! Be proud of who you are and what you have, because you wouldn’t have it if not for your hard work and dedication. Allow yourself to recognize yourself and start finding different ways to fall in love with yourself. For you can only love others when you truly find forgiveness on the inside.
Thanks you to my friends and family for always keeping me in check. Thank you to myself who shows up for me every single day. I couldn’t be great with out you!
You can’t be great with you!

Yoga into the New Year! I’m excited to share with you all my teaching schedule.

My goal is to have 5 classes on my schedule this year so watch this space to see how I navigate yoga in the city, and my own personal journey. Drop any trips, tricks, advice, and motivation in the comments below that you might think will help me achieve his goal.
Making goals for yourself is so important. With me I find it to be one of the things that helps to keep me grounded. To always keep moving forward and striving for something. A nice way to look at is; your goals help to pave a cosmic road for your life. My road looks like a baby to royal blue celestial path filled with stars that are every moving and changing. It allows 360degrees of movement. It might send me up and down, side to side, and don’t be alarmed if you see me in a loop da loop.
My Best 9. Looking at this amalgamation of photo’s I realized it doesn’t really say a lot about me. But what I do know, is that I have found a beauty in myself that I have never had the ability to see before. I can look at myself and really see myself. My faults and aspirations. My goals, and my drive. I am forever grateful for the Lord on high, for opening my eyes to such. This year was very difficult for my inner peace. I have struggled more with myself than ever before. I have seen people surpass me and I find myself stagnant. I have looked into my future and seen what is to come, and yet have no means to continue on my journey. That has been my biggest fear in 2017. And to be perfectly honest it came true. It is something new that I never once had before.
I have always had drive. Things happened that have chipped away at my resolve, until only remnants of what once was, was left behind. I keep telling myself I need to be that Yemie again, I need to find that person again. But truly, I need to leave it all behind. As we come to the end of this year, and start another, a spark has been lit.
Upside of 2107, I am fAcking beautiful!
Find what you love and let it kill you. ⚡️PREACH. I had an aura reading the other day, you know…because we all could all use a little guidance, and the confirmation of positive action. People keep telling me, we only get one shot in this lifetime. This shot. So do what makes you happy and don’t let anything hold you back, especially within. Being in this industry is definitely not a walk in the park. There are so many things that are out of your control. And it gets even harder when doubt starts to rear its ugly little head. But rabbit holes are for rabbits and dreams are for the likes of you and I.
It is almost time for a new year. The resolutions will be coming fast and swift, but while Iv got some time left in this one. The realizations have been flowing steady and strong. I send thoughts of thanks to Mother Nature because what is the point of sight if you’re still blind inside. Om Shanti
The other week I was asked to model for a photographer, this beautiful, strong, woman, called Jada. She had invited another photographer to assist with the shots for her up and coming magazine. I’m still waiting to see the outcome of that photoshoot. But while we wait (in suspense, as this will be my first editorial feature). Here are a couple of shots taken by Johnny Johnson.
Currently exploring the depths of my imagination using pen, paper, and keyboard. Be sure to check back soon for other developments.
